Jack’s Pickin’ Parlor was founded in November, 1999 by Jack Ellenburg on the principle that there are no big “I’s” or little “you’s”, with everybody being somebody at the Pickin’ Parlor whether you are a listener or picker.

The Pickin’ Parlor welcomes musicians of all skill levels, both young and old.

Since its’ inception, hundreds of pickers and listeners from all over the country have come through the doors of the Pickin’ Parlor.

Over the years, the Pickin’ Parlor has garnered the well deserved reputation as “the” place to pick and hear great bluegrass music.

It has often been said, “If you don’t have fun at the Pickin’ Parlor, then it’s your own fault”.

By many that frequent the Pickin’ Parlor, it is considered the 8th wonder of the world for bluegrass music - just down home stuff.
